Why do we exist?

For Algeria to meet its fullest potential for development and growth, it is critical that structural barriers that limit women and girls are addressed and that they become active contributors and decision-makers. Our belief is simple: for a resilient and inclusive Algeria, all must be agents of change in the home, the labor market, research institutions, decision-making tables, and every other area of activity. To this end, AWF aims to spur change and build platforms that enable transformative, inclusive, and equitable change toward a future-ready Algerian society.
